Enter your own Garden or nominate your favourite in Kintore to be in with a chance to win Kintore's Best Kept Garden 2026.

You can enter as many gardens as you wish as long as they are based in Kintore.

Due to the massive success of last years competition Kintore and District Community Council are super excited to announce that we are to run the ‘ Kintore’s Best Kept Garden’ competition again this year as part of our wider ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ 2026 Project.

You can nominate or self nominate and have a chance to win regardless of the size of the garden as we will have five categories.

• Best Small Garden 
• Beat Large Garden
• Best Low Maintenance Garden
• Best Hanging Basket/ Planter
• Best Container 

How to Nominate Online: Simply complete the yellow Nomination Form below or pick up, complete and hand in a physical nomintaion form from  Dossetts Butcher, The Square, Kintore from Monday the 18th May 2026.

Judging will take place on Saturday the 1st of August (weather dependent) by the highly experienced Ian Mitchell with the Winners being announced on 29th of August 2026.

The Winners of each category will be presented with a framed 1st Place Certificate.

However like any great competition there will be only one overall winner who will get their names engraved on the lovely silver cup and in the history books forever more!

The presentation of the overall Winner of Kintore's Best Kept Garden will take place on Saturday the 29th of August as part of the Explore Kintore Street Party celebrations.
