The former Café Kintore is to re-open on April 22 as The Peerie Pantry.

Chris Chick and her business partner Jane Bleakley have taken over the lease. They’re both midwives who have decided to have a complete career change!

Chris explains: “Peerie Pantry will be a small cafe/takeaway offering freshly made soups, sandwiches, savouries and homebakes, using as many fresh locally sourced ingredients as we can.

“We will offer friendly efficient service in a homely, welcoming environment whether eating in or taking away,” Chris continues. “We’re currently refurbishing the cafe just now but are really looking forward to opening on the 22nd.”
